Verified Internship Contributions

The people who actually built MediVision AI.

Between April and May 2026, eleven students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore joined the MediVision AI team as interns — not to shadow, but to ship real features into a real, live production codebase, led by their own team lead. This page is our record of that work, kept public so it can speak for them wherever they apply next.

"They didn't just observe a working product — they extended one, in a live codebase already handling real bills for a real pharmacy. Each of them owned a genuine piece of it: a module, a feature, a layer of the system that's still running today, not a sandboxed exercise thrown away afterward.

They worked well together, communicated clearly across the team, and each left MediVision AI meaningfully better than they found it. I'm glad to put the company's name behind their work — and behind them, as they look toward full-time roles."

Team Lead

Led by Gudapati Venkata Harichandana

Frontend Developer — POS System UI · Team Lead
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23618

If eleven interns shipped real features into one codebase without stepping on each other, that didn't happen by accident. Harichandana led the cohort — coordinating the team, keeping everyone aligned, and doing the steady, unglamorous work that holds a project together. The backbone of this team, and one of its hardest workers.

Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Built the frontend for Selvam Medicals' POS (Point of Sale) system, focused on a fast, keyboard-driven billing interface. Developed medicine search and barcode scanning, the billing screen (medicine, quantity, price, totals), and keyboard shortcuts to bill with minimal mouse use. Integrated the face-recognition popup, payment panel, customer suggestion panel, prescription scan/upload, and the overall bill-generation workflow.

HTMLCSSJavaScriptReact.js
From the founder: The counter-facing screen every cashier uses all day — and the one that has to be fast under pressure — is Harichandana's. Leading the cohort on top of that is the mark of someone who was trusted with both the code and the team.

Krishnan S.

Krishnan S.

AI & Full-Stack Development Intern
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · B.Tech CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23628
Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Owned AI face-recognition end to end — camera-based scanning, customer matching and enrollment, automatic identification at the counter. Connected the dashboard's Face ID controls to the recognition APIs, and worked on customer/inventory data migrations, stock ledgers and safer handling of stored records.

PythonFlaskface-api.jsPostgreSQLSQLAlchemyJavaScript
From the founder: Face recognition is one of the platform's hardest features to get right — camera input, matching accuracy, and real customer data all at once. Krishnan owned it end to end and it's live today.
Rishiikesh S K

Rishiikesh S K

Full Stack Web Development Intern
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23236
Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Designed and implemented the platform's complete database schema using SQLAlchemy ORM — eight domains, including Core Masters, Inventory, Sales, HR, Financial Ledgers, and pgvector-based AI biometrics. Built backend REST APIs for billing, inventory, SMS and communications, optimized query performance with indexing and pagination, and refactored the frontend dashboard.

PythonFlask-SQLAlchemyPostgreSQLpgvectorpytestJavaScript
From the founder: The schema Rishiikesh designed is what every other module is built on top of — foundational, unglamorous work that has to be right.

Backend / Full-Stack Developer — Reporting & Analytics
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23256
1 Apr–31 May 2026 · 2 months

Built the platform's entire Reporting & Analytics module — backend routes and frontend interfaces covering customer statements, prescriptions, invoices, sales, credit notes, GST, profit & loss, purchases, supplier ledgers, inventory, expiry/low-stock, staff performance and attendance, customer retention, facial footfall, and OCR analytics. Also wrote the database seed script used to populate demo data for testing.

PythonFlaskSQLiteREST APIsJavaScript
From the founder: A dozen-plus report types, end to end, by one intern — that's the kind of dependable, high-volume delivery that's hard to teach.

Worked on the billing and inventory module — implemented CRUD operations, added data visualisations, and integrated WhatsApp Web messaging together with a live customer credit ledger feature.

PythonHTMLJavaScript
From the founder: Shipped a feature customers actually see — WhatsApp billing and a real credit ledger, not a backend-only exercise.

Took ownership of billing and inventory — CRUD operations and a partial-payment system — and added inventory damage logs alongside a tracking feature for chronic patients' repeat refills. Integrated WhatsApp to send automated digital bills and reminders.

MERN StackMongoDBReactNode.jsPython
From the founder: The chronic-refill tracking and automated WhatsApp reminders are small features with real day-to-day impact for the pharmacy's regular customers.
S Aditya

S Aditya

UI/UX & Frontend Development Intern
Amrita University, Coimbatore · B.Tech ECE · CB.EN.U4ECE23036
Apr 2026 – Present

Designed dozens of business-workflow screens in Figma for sales, purchase, inventory, billing and reporting, then converted them into responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript interfaces. Worked closely with the development team through implementation, testing and feature refinement.

FigmaReactHTML5CSS3JavaScript
From the founder: Turning real counter workflows into screens that are actually fast to use under pressure is harder than it looks — Aditya did that across every major module.
Devika Unnikrishnan

Devika Unnikrishnan

Frontend Developer
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham · B.Tech CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23512
May 2026 · 1 month

Collaboratively developed frontend pages for the dashboard and other application modules, working alongside the wider development team on structure and usability.

HTMLCSSJavaScriptFigma
From the founder: Building consistent, usable pages across a live, multi-module dashboard is real frontend work, not a side task — Devika delivered it well, and did it with real curiosity, pushing to understand more of the system than her own pages strictly required.
Ranga Arun Kumar

Ranga Arun Kumar

Full-Stack Developer — POS, Alerts & Auth
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23646
Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Worked across three distinct parts of the platform: the POS billing interface on the frontend, the backend's request/alert handling for incoming system notifications, and the authentication module governing secure access control.

HTMLCSSJavaScriptReact.js
From the founder: Touching the POS screen, the alerts pipeline, and authentication in one internship is real breadth — Ranga moved across the stack without losing care for any one piece, exactly the versatility a small team actually needs.
Madhav Sreejith

Madhav Sreejith

Software Development Intern — Auth & Face Recognition
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · B.Tech CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23661
Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Built the login and role-based authentication system using JWT, and developed the customer face-recognition module for automatic identification at the counter.

PythonFlaskPostgreSQLJWTJavaScriptFace-API.js
From the founder: Authentication and face recognition are both places where a small mistake is a real security or trust problem, not just a bug — Madhav built both carefully, and the face-recognition module is exactly the kind of feature that makes the counter genuinely faster.
Ashin Varghese

Ashin Varghese

Software Development Intern — Sales Analytics
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore · B.Tech CSE · CB.SC.U4CSE23504
Apr–May 2026 · 2 months

Built the sales analytics and business-insights module: demand forecasting with linear regression, identification of fast-moving medicines, market-basket analysis for frequently co-purchased items, and customer churn-risk scoring from purchase history — integrated into the Flask backend via dedicated API routes and surfaced in the Staff Insights and Data Insights dashboards.

PythonFlaskPostgreSQLJavaScriptHTML/CSS
From the founder: Sales forecasting, market-basket analysis, churn-risk scoring — this is real applied data work, not a checklist feature. Ashin built all of it end to end, from the modelling through to the API and the dashboard that actually surfaces it to staff.
